Jaundice and enlargement of the gallbladder: a diagnostic problem. Report of 2 cases.
1966
Jaundice and a palpable gallbladder occurred in 2 patients in the absence of common bile duct occlusion. In both, the jaundice resulted from hepatic parenchymal disease. Obvious obstruction of the cystic duct by a gallstone accounted for the cholecystomegaly in one case; in the other, obstruction of the cystic duct was attributed to impingement by a metastasis.
