Analysis of power frequency disturbance in cables of truck cranes based on field-circuit coupling method

The electromagnetic field around the transmission line could cause severe electromagnetic disturbance on the electronic equipment nearby, especially for those in the part working aloft of the engineering machinery, such as truck crane. In terms of the characteristic of the electromagnetic fields excited by the transmission line and the structural characteristic of the truck crane, the electromagnetic field distribution was calculated using finite element method, the coupling response of two different kinds of truck crane cable and potential distribution of the boom shell was calculated based on the Rachidi formulation of field-to transmission line coupling equations. The computation show that, the transmission line electromagnetic field could cause obvious potential difference on the ends of the boom shell of the truck crane and thus threaten the normal operation of relative equipment.
