Однонуклеотидная замена -173g>c гена фактора ингибирования миграции макрофагов и предрасположенность к развитию ювенильных артритов

The -173G>C (rs755622) SNP of the macrophage migration inhibitory (MIF) gene was studied in children with juvenile arthritis (JA) and healthy individuals, citizens of the Bashkortostan, using real time PCR. It was shown, that the genetic markers of increased JA risk were the genotype GG (p = 0,02; OR = 1,74; CI (1,12-2,72)) and allele G (p=0,03; OR = 1,55; CI (1,06-2,28)). GG genotype also mark the earlier age debut of JA (0-6 years) (p = 0,003). III stage of JA activity associated with the presence in patients GC or CC genotype (p = 0,04). Thus, our research revealed the association of the polymorphic locus MIF*-173G>C with the JA formation and clinical variants of the disease.
