Surface treating method for titanium belt and titanium mesh anode

2009
The invention provides a method for disposing the surfaces of a titanium strip and a titanium net strip anode. The disposal method comprises the following processes: the titanium strip and the titanium net strip are etched in oxalic acid (with the mass concentration of 8-10%) for 1-2 hours at the temperature of 80-100 DEG C, and then rinsed in water; subsequently, the titanium strip and the titanium net strip are dipped in a mixed acid solution for 3-10 hours and then washed cleanly by water; according to the volume percentage, the mixed acid solution consists of 1-10% of H2SO4, 1-20% of HCL and 70-98% of H2O, wherein, H2SO4 is defined as H2SO4 with the mass concentration of 98% and HCL is defined as the HCL with the mass concentration of 36-38%. The method has simple process; the surfaces of the titanium strip and the titanium net strip anode disposed by the method have uniform grey surfaces and the reinforcing service life thereof is greatly longer than that of the titanium strip and the titanium net strip anode disposed by the common method.
