The invention relates to matt polyurethane wood floor paint with a formaldehyde removing function and a preparation method thereof. The matt polyurethane wood floor paint is prepared by mixing hydroxyl components with NCO components according to a mass ratio of 1:(0.8-1.2), wherein the hydroxyl components comprise the following components in parts by weight: 50-60 parts of formaldehyde removing alkyd resin, 0-20 parts of castor oil alkyd resin, 0.1-0.5 parts of a dispersant, 0.1-0.4 parts of bentonite, 0.3-0.8 parts of polyethylene wax powder, 0.1-1 part of polyamide wax slurry, 2-6 parts of a matting agent, 2-5 parts of cyclohexanone, 5-13 parts of n-butyl acetate, 2-5 parts of ethyl acetate, 2-10 parts of xylene, 0.1-0.5 parts of a defoamer, 0.1-0.5 parts of a leveler and 0.1-0.5 parts of a dryer; the NCO components comprise the following components in parts by weight: 6-12 parts of xylene, 6-24 parts of n-butyl acetate, 3-10 parts of ethyl acetate, 15-30 parts of TDI-TMP (toluene diisocynate-trimethylolpropane), 20-40 parts of an HDI (hexamethylene diisocyanate) trimer, 6-15 parts of a TDI (toluene diisocynate) trimer and 0.5-1 part of a dehydrating agent. The matt polyurethane wood floor paint prepared by the method has the formaldehyde removing function, and a coating is wear-resistant, impact-resistant and good in adhesive force.
