Real-Time Evacuation Path: Unexpectedly Increased Numbers of Evacuees in Source Nodes

2013
When catastrophic events occurred, evacuation is important in the urban areas. The uncertainty of the incident should allow the system to be changed based on the new information. If the varying capacity and transport time of road network and priority evacuation areas are known, by CCRP (Capacity-Constrained Route Planning) evacuation strategies can be obtained. The paper highlights the need to evacuate a source point owing to unexpected increased population, on the basis of the original strategy, and the model can produce real-time evacuation policy information and guide the population to evacuate as soon as possible.
