Characteristics of knee isokinetic muscle strength for junior elite female high jumpers

2007
Objective:The isokinetic double knee flexion and extension of 18 female junior high jumpers were measured. It tries to find out the biomechanics feature of knee flexion and extension in junior high jumpers and to provide the basis for sports training and scientific selecting material and rehabilitation. Methods:Isokinetic flexion and extension of knee joints were measured by Kintech Isokinetic System in female junior high jumpers. The peak torque(PT) of junior male sprint athletes reduced with the test speed increasing(60°/s to 240°/s) and the extensor stronger than flexor except 240°/s(P0.05).The peak flexors/extensors(F/E) of junior athletes tend to increase with the test speed increasing. The max power(MP) increased with the test speed increasing and in the same testing speed there are not significant differences in MP.There are not significant differences between right and left in MP(except extensor in 600/s);Angle of peak torque(APT) indicates angle of extensors are lower than flexors. There are not significant differences between right and left in APT;There is negative correlation between PT/BM and D/X in test speed of 240°/s.Conclusion:the changes of female junior high jumpers are the same with adults in the PT,but the work power capability of knee are faintness,so they must reinforce the speed strength of limb muscle flock training.
