A process for the production of fuels from waste and produced thereby fuels

Disclosed is a method for fabrication of fuels from waste materials, wherein the waste is subjected to more mechanical comminution, sorting and if necessary drying processes. Thus materials or types of materials can be obtained from the waste specifically, which have a high calorific value and a constant low chlorine content, it is proposed that individual fractions assayed by near infrared (NIR) technique and impurities, such as chlorine-containing waste parts, are removed from the fraction.
