Studies on Fermentation Kinetics of Acetobacter xylinumNUST4.2 Producing Bacterial Cellulose in Shake Flask

The fermentation kinetics of bacterial cellulose-producting strain Acetobacter xylinum NUST4.2 was studied.A kinetic model was established based on the Logistic equation for cell growth,product formation and substrate consumption during fermentation in shake flask.The model fitted well and gave a reasonable description of the batch fermentation process.
