唾液酸化Lewis X和半乳糖凝集素-3表达与甲状腺乳头状癌浸润转移的关系 Expression of Sialyl Lewis X and Galectin-3 in Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma and Their Relationships with Invasion and Metastasis

目的：探讨唾液酸化Lewis X (SLeX)和半乳糖凝集素-3 (Galectin-3)在甲状腺乳头状癌中的表达及其与癌组织浸润转移的关系。方法：应用免疫组化染色EliVisionTM plus两步法检测164例甲状腺乳头状癌组织和30例癌旁甲状腺组织中SLeX和Galectin-3的表达状况。结果：癌组织SLeX和Galectin-3总体阳性表达率分别为70.7%和92.1%，癌旁甲状腺组织SLeX和Galectin-3总体阳性表达率分别为6.7%和20.0%，两者在癌组织总体阳性表达率显著高于癌旁甲状腺组织(P < 0.05)。有浸润患者SLeX和Galectin-3总体阳性表达率分别为84.8%和98.0%，无浸润患者分别为49.2%和83.1%，两者在有浸润患者中的总体阳性表达率均显著高于无浸润患者(P < 0.05)。有淋巴结转移患者SLeX和Galectin-3总体阳性表达率分别为89.2%和96.8%，无淋巴结转移患者分别为46.5%和85.9%，两者在有淋巴结转移患者中的总体阳性表达率均显著高于无淋巴结转移患者(P < 0.05)。癌组织SLeX与Galectin-3表达具有一定正相关性(r = 0.41)。结论：SLeX和Galectin-3在甲状腺乳头状癌组织中多数呈强阳性表达，两者与癌组织浸润转移密切相关。 Objective: To investigate the expression of sialyl Lewis X (SLeX) and Galectin-3 in papillary thyroid carcinoma and their relationships with the potential of invasion and metastasis. Methods: The expression of SLeX and Galectin-3 in 164 cases of papillary thyroid carcinoma and 30 cases of para-tumorous tissue were studied by EliVisionTM plus two-step immunohistochemical method. Results: The positive rates of SLeX and Galectin-3 in papillary thyroid carcinoma were 70.7% and 92.1%; those in para-tumorous tissue were 6.7% and 20.0%. Both in papillary thyroid carcinoma were significantly higher than those in para-tumorous tissue (P < 0.05). The positive rates of SLeX and Galectin-3 in the patients with tumor invasion were 84.8% and 98.0%; those in the patients without tumor invasion were 49.2% and 83.1%. Both in the patients with tumor invasion were significantly higher than those in the patients without tumor invasion (P < 0.05). The positive rates of SLeX and Galectin-3 in the patients with lymphatic metastasis were 89.2% and 96.8%; those in the patients without lymphatic metastasis were 46.5% and 85.9%. Both in the patients with lymphatic metastasis were significantly higher than those in the patients without lymphatic metastasis (P < 0.05). There was a positive correlation between SLeX and Galectin-3 expression in papillary thyroid carcinoma (r = 0.41). Conclusion: High level expression of SLeX and Galectin-3 in papillary thyroid carcinoma were closely correlated with the invasive and metastasic potential.
