Guattari on air. Félix Guattari y el movimiento francés de radios libres

2021
Psychoanalyst and philosopher, author of several essays, some in collaboration with Gilles Deleuze (L'Anti-Œdipe), others alone (La Revolution moleculaire), Felix Guattari (1930-1992) became involved in the French free radio movement, through the idealized prism of the mythical Italian station Radio Alice, for which he prefaced the French translation of a manifesto in April or May 1977. Our text aims to retrace the circumstances that led the philosopher to take up this cause. It also attempts to analyse his ambiguous relationship to the radio medium. To this end, we rely on recently recovered documentary images and some of his actions and words.
