Fartura de alimentos e de conhecimentos: experiência agroecológica em São Domingos do Capim, Nordeste Paraense. Food and Knowledge Abundance: Agro - ecologic experience in Sao Domingos do Capim , Northeastern Para .

The experience narrative is based on knowledge exchange between family peasants in the municipality of Sao Domingos do Capim [Brazilian State of Para ] and students of the Family Farming and Sustainable Development Masters Studies Program from the Federal University of Para [MAFDS/UFPA]. It was based on field studies, provided by the Amazon Agriculture Graduation Program [PPGAA] and the Eastern Amazon/Brazilian Agriculture and Pasture Res earch Company [EMBRAPA] to family peasants that have shifted from a traditional farming model based on cutting and burning to an agro - ecologic and diverse production. The intention was to approach master program students to the Northeastern Para rural real ity. The experience has made possible a more coherent formation, understanding that theory and reality are indissoluble for research.
