This summary sets out the main findings from the work commissioned by the Lamb Inquiry from SENJIT at the Institute of Education and CEDAR at the University of Warwick. The evidence gathered falls under three main headings: • issues of school inspection and accountability in relation to SEN and disability • local authorities’ learning from the eight projects funded by the Inquiry • consultation questionnaires: views on the special educational needs system, by parents, students, school staff and other professionals
