PENGGUNAAN ALAT KONTRASEPSI PADA PASANGAN USIA SUBUR

Background: Many things affect the acceptor in choosing short-term contraception. One reason is the challenge family planning knowledge, knowledge can be seen from the level of education as well as information from health workers. Another reason for age, side effects, number of children, the reason for religion, socio-economic reasons, namely because the cost is too expensive. So many factors that a reason contraceptive acceptors using short term. Objective: To determine the use of contraception of couple childbearing age in Wonocatur Banguntapan in 2013. Method: The method in this research is descriptive with cross sectional. Population in this research are couples of childbearing age in Wonocatur Village. The sample used was 105 responden. Data were analyzed descriptively and frequency distribution table. Result: Based on the results of research in Wonocatur, who use contraceptives long-term and short-term 45.7% 54.3%. Couple childbearing age with higher levels of education chose to use long-term contraception that is 11.4% while primary education choose to use short-term contraception that is 25.7%. Couple childbearing age with high incomes choose to use long-term contraception that is 40% and for low-income short-term use of contraceptives is 33.3%. Couple childbearing age with healthy reproductive age choose to use contraception is 21.9% short term and unhealthy reproductive age choose to use long-term contraception was 33.3%. Couple childbearing age with more than one children choose to use short-term contraception that is 44.8%. Conclusion: Couple childbearing age in Wonocatur still a lot of short-term use of contraceptives.
