In electric vehicle, the driving range is significantly effect on the cooling and heating system according to the previous electric vehicle test results. Therefore, the focus on HVAC system for EV has to develop in order to decrease the power consumption. Eventually this ways will be contributed to increase the driving range and leads to satisfy customer. Heat pump system is essential to improve the driving range of heating system and occupied-zone HVAC system is efficiency system for solo driver. Also By adjusting to minimize the fresh air suction can decrease the heat load by increasing the recirculation air. These systems to save the power consumption were implemented for EV Vehicles and achieved the improvement of the driving range reduction rate.
