3d image display device and driving method thereof

PURPOSE: A 3D image display device and a driving method thereof minimize power consumption by not driving a second subpixel in a 3D display mode. CONSTITUTION: A data driver (130) drives multiple data lines. A first gate driver (140) drives first gate lines among multiple gate lines. A second gate driver (150) drives second gate lines among multiple gate lines. A timing controller (120) controls the data driver and the first and second gate drivers in response to an image signal and a control signal inputted from the outside. The timing controller controls the second gate driver not to drive the second gate lines during a 3D display mode.
