Public Perceptions of Sentencing Sexual Offences in Scotland: Qualitative Research Exploring Sexual Offences

The aim of this research study was to explore in depth, public perceptions of sentencing of sexual offences in Scotland, including the perceptions of victims of sexual offences. Until now, no work has been dedicated to studying Scottish public attitudes towards sentencing of sexual offences.
