The present invention discloses a nano antifouling external coating and preparation method thereof, comprises the following components: Water 10 to 20% rutile titanium dioxide 15 to 30%, 0 to 15% wollastonite, calcined kaolin 0 ~ 5%, the core-shell nano-composite emulsion 30 to 60%, 1-5% film-forming aid, antifreeze, 0.5 to 2%, small dose of 2.2 to 5.8% additives. Advantages of the present invention: 1. The inorganic coating of the present invention, instead of part of the polymer nanoparticles, not only can greatly reduce the use of organic petroleum resources, and can reduce costs and improve overall performance of the coating. 2. Coating the performance of the present invention is able to meet the requirements of the national standard GB / T9755-2001 superior product, particularly water resistance, alkali resistance, stain resistance, artificial aging resistance, abrasion number of 10,000 or more.
