Superconductivity in Sb incorporated BiSrCaCuO (BSSCCO) system

Abstract In our continued attempts towards realisation of a T c 0 near 130 K in the Sb incorporated BiSrCaCuO (BSSCCO) system, we investigated the superconducting properties of Bi 1.9 Sb 0.1 Sr 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O y which are presented in this paper. The observed properties are critically dependent upon the thermal-treatment parameters corroborating the oxygen-incorporating effect of Sb.
