Editor–We agree with Carolyn Diguiseppi that evidence exists for giving influenza vaccine to everyone aged over 65.1 Interestingly, medical insurance companies in the United States have shown that it is cost effective to vaccinate people aged over 65 to reduce the burden of morbidity and mortality.
