Spectrophotometric determination of trace molybdenum in food sample with HMPF

The color of Mo(Ⅵ) with HMPF in the presence of CTMAB was studied in food sample.The complex was strong acid medium.The molar absorptivity was 1.30×105L·moL-1·cm-1,at 525.00nm,Beer's law was over the rang of 0～15μg/25mL for Mo(Ⅵ).The method proved to be satisfactory for the direct determination of Mo(Ⅵ) in food sample.
