Sensorless control of direct-driven wind power PMSG

Sliding mode observer and extended Kalman filter were used to estimate the rotor position and velocity based on the mathematical model of permanent synchronous magnet synchronous generator(PMSG).Because interior PMSG has unequal d-axis inductance and q-axis inductance,an extended electromotive force sliding observer model on the stationary reference frame was adopted,and the discrete decoupling calculation model was derived.Extended Kalman filter was used to filter the operational noises and to increase the robustness of parameter variation.Three phase lock loop was adopted to distill the rotor position and speed.Control strategies of wind power PMSG were introduced on the knowledge of rotor position and speed.The effectiveness of the proposed method was verified by simulation and experiment.
