New antiviral pseudopeptides with Mercaptal- or thioether

The invention concerns pseudopeptides with an anti-viral action, the pseudopeptides containing a mercaptal or thioether group and having general formula (I) in which the substituents are as defined in the description. The invention also concerns methods of preparing such pseudopeptides and their use as antiviral agents, in particular against cytomegaloviruses.
