Electrified railway catenary AC ice melting system

2009
The utility model relates to an electrified railway catenary AC ice melting system. When ice is covered on a catenary, harms that electric locomotive pantograph cannot contact with a contact line to take current, a catenary shakes and even is inverted, collapses and the like occur. The system comprises a covered ice data processing and control module, a bipolar load isolation switch and an AC ice melting and current limiting device, and the AC ice melting and current limiting device comprises an ice melting resistor box, an ice melting capacitor box, an air-cooling or water-cooling device, and a control protection device; the AC ice melting and current limiting device is arranged in a partition place, a downlink catenary is connected with an integrated grounding box, and a grounding isolation switch is arranged between; and an uplink catenary and the downlink catenary are serially connected into an ice melting circuit through the bipolar load isolation switch of the partition place on the tail end of a power supply arm tail end. Compared with a traditional method of removing ice by manual knocking and the like of an operation department, the electrified railway catenary AC ice melting system not only greatly improves the ice removing efficiency but also reduces the impact on railway transportation, and removes the damage of external force to the contact line with the ice attached on the contact line after joule hot melting.
