A safe management method of local area network based on IEEE 802.1 x protocol includes carrying out function expansion on certification system based on IEEE 802.1 x protocol, coordinating said certification system with network control center and existed network device to form a closed loop of linked control system, integrating formed control system with various characteristics of IEEE 802.1 x protocol to control access terminal in network for making local area network be controlled by fine-granularity way and for pushing network management to be on most margin of network.
