Grundlagen und Werkzeuge zur ganzheitlichen wasserwirtschaftlichen Planung

Water resources planning is becoming increasingly complex, for a variety of socio-economical, environmental and technical reasons. A structured approach to water resources planning is presented which is able to take account of changing requirements efficiently. An overview is provided of relevant German legislation and technical regulations, as well as common planning tasks and the available planning tools. The prototype of the Consulting Information System (BWK-BIS) developed by the BWK working group is described.
