Use of Grandazol for the Prevention and Treatment of Purulent Infections in Colorectal Surgery

The paper presents the materials from the study on the use of a combined preparation Grandazol compared with separate use of levofloxacin and ornigil for the treatment of purulent pathology of pararectal area and the prevention of infectious complications in the early postoperative period in coloproctological patients undergoing abdominal surgeries. We have analyzed the effectiveness of Grandazol in 122 patients. The study showed a high antibacterial efficacy, the possibility of Grandazol use as the drug of choice in the treatment of perianal septic infections and prevention of infectious complications in coloproctological patients undergoing abdominal surgeries.
