The purpose of this article is to show the advances in the implementation of a biodigester instrumented according to the anaerobic biodegradation of waste and / or waste from banana and banana production that is harvested daily in the department of Quindio, especially in the municipalities of Armenia, Calarca, Montenegro and La Tebaida, areas with a higher concentration of cultivated areas. Among the criteria to be analyzed are the estimated daily generation of tons of crop residues, knowing, according to the amount of matter of the banana residue, the behavior over time of physical variables such as pressure and temperature in the biodigestion; to project its production of methane gas for the analysis of its calorific value (Kilo-Jules perton), as a fundamental input for the biomass generation model.
