Study on chemical constituents of Asteris souliei.

Objective To study the chemical constituents of Asteris souliei.Methods The chemical constituents were isolated by column chromatography with silica gel and Sephadex LH-20,and their structures were elucidated by physical-chemical methods and spectroscopic analysis.Results Six compounds were isolated and identified as β-sitosterol(Ⅰ),α-spinasterol(Ⅱ),18,19-dihydroxy-5 α,10 β-neo-cleroda-diene-butenolide(Ⅲ),daucosterol(Ⅳ),salicylic acid(Ⅴ),apigenin(Ⅵ).Conclusion Compound Ⅱ and Ⅴ were obtained from Aster souliei for the first time.
