A newconfiguration scheduling algorithm inmulticast configuration scheme isproposed andevaluated overreduction ratio ofconfiguration datatransfer cycles and powerlenergy overhead onacoarse-grained dynamically reconfigurable processor array (DRPA). Asacasestudy, theproposed methods areapplied tosomerealapplications onaDRPAarchitecture MuCCRA-1. Asaresult, we confirmed that theproposed overwrite configuration technique forDRPAsreduced anapplication configuration cycles 66.5%atmaximumcompared toonewithout multicast and20.2%compared toonewithout theoverwrite configuration. Italso decreased theconfiguration energy consumption18.7% atmaximumbeyond theoverhead ofmemory overwrites.
