Assess the environmental and climatic factors and elements for sowing of sugar beet

: Sugar beet farming is a strategic product. Based on climatic and environmental conditions in the area of the Magi, planting farmers play an important role in economic development. The aim of this study was to assess the environmental and climatic factors and elements for planting sugar beet in the region are the Magi. Due to various environmental factors on the growth and yield of sugar beets, the process of evaluating land for its cultivation requires a comprehensive and diverse geographic and descriptive data. The information related to climatic variables 5 and climatological synoptic stations in the study area that has complete statistics were collected and were analyzed. Climate elements, annual temperature, the temperature during the growing season (May to September), the annual precipitation falls during the growing season (May to September) and climatic factors, height, slope, aspect and soil were considered. Using the special functions of GIS, was prepared for each separate layer climate needs. After valuation, according to sugar beet growing need, using AHP, the layers were categorized and all layers of the elements and climatic factors were combined in GIS with an overlap of indicators. The results showed that 58/6 percent of the land has the right circumstances, 27/1 percent of the land has medium and 14/3 percent of the land is unsuitable for growing sugar beet in the area of the Magi.
