Driver fatigue detection system based on EEG

2011
The present invention provides a driver fatigue EEG-based detection system, in real time, quickly detect whether the driver is in a fatigue state, to avoid driver fatigue. The system includes EEG acquisition, processing, and electrical stimulation of brain and three feedback interface module results. Collecting real-time signal acquisition module of the driver's EEG, the EEG signal is transmitted to the signal processing module. The signal processing module to complete the processing of EEG signal, including data preprocessing, feature extraction and pattern classification is determined whether the driver is in a fatigue state, and sends a recognition result to the feedback interface module with the results of stimulation. Stimulation and result interface to complete feedback system connected to a computer terminal or a smart phone, the identification result displayed to the driver. EEG based advantages, the present invention have a greater advantage in terms of real-time detection of fatigue, can greatly reduce the fatigue detection delay.
