Optical filter, method of manufacturing the same and plasma display device having the optical filter

An optical filter, a manufacturing method thereof and a plasma display apparatus including the same are provided to improve visibility by adjusting light absorption ratio and to prevent dual image due to interfacial reflection. An optical filter includes an electromagnetic shielding pattern, a light absorbing pattern and an adhesive member. The electromagnetic shielding pattern(23) is arranged on any one surface of a supporting layer(21) at a regular interval. The light absorbing pattern(24) is formed on the electromagnetic shielding pattern. The adhesive member(25) is buried between the stacked structures of the electromagnetic shielding pattern and the light absorbing pattern. The supporting layer has high transmittance and prevents scattered reflection. The light absorbing pattern includes a pigment of black range and adjusts light absorbing ratio in accordance with the height and width of the pigment.
