New method for thermoelectrooxidation investigations of electroconductive polymer compositions

Abstract A new method of testing electroconductive polymer compositions for thermoelectrooxidation is reported. A special reaction vessel design, which allows experiments to be conducted under conditions of passing an electric current through the sample combined with the heat and oxygen influence, is described together with the apparatus arrangement and experimental method. The difference between the oxygen absorption kinetic curves obtained using the given method and curves obtained in similar conditions but in the absence of the electric current are compared.
