A Survey on Extrinsic and Intrinsic Plagiarism Detection Systems

Due to its significance and rapidly increasing rates, plagiarism has become an area ofconcern for researchers. The quick access to and ease of cutting and pasting from a wide variety ofmaterials available on the internet is exacerbated by it. A common and growing issue in the academicprocess is plagiarism. In this paper, the benefits and drawbacks of the main effective techniques usedor developed in the detection of text plagiarism are described. Mainly techniques used in theidentification of natural language text, index structure, and identification of external plagiarism andclustering based detection are been explored.
