Expression of grapevine leafroll associated-Virus-3 coat protein gene in E. coli

In this study, the coat protein gene of GLRaV-3 was cloned into expression vector PET-30a, then translated into E. coli BL21, and the recombinant plasmid was obtained. GLRaV-3 coat protein gene was expressed in E. coli through IPTG inducing. And a 35 Ku peculiar protein as expected was showed in SDS-PAGE. The antigenicity of this protein using ELISA was verified as well.
