Частота выявления хронической сердечной недостаточности в амбулаторной практике города Красноярска

In the present study the prevalence of chronic heart failure has been estimated for the first time in the Krasnoyarsk city in a big cohort including 1,346 males (average 39.92±16.55 y.o.) and 1,654 females (average 43.92±18.34 y.o.). We found main risk factors for development of chronic heart failure in patients examined at the out-patient clinic. Diagnosis of chronic heart failure was confirmed in 219 patients out of 381 persons with positive epidemiological questionnaire which have been further tested with clinical and instrumental methods. Thus, the prevalence of chronic heart failure was found to be 7.3% in the out-patient clinic.
