Process for preparing 5- and / or 3- substituted-1 hydroxypyrazoles of the formulas ** ** in which R1 means alkyl having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, alkenyl having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, alkynyl with 2 to 6 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl having 3 to 6 carbon atoms or alkoxy having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, may be substituted these groups of halogen, alkoxy having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, phenoxy, alkoxycarbonyl having 1 to 6 carbon atoms , alkylthiocarbonyl or cyclic ring system with 3 to 14 ring atoms.
