Protein GmIFR associated with insect tolerance of plants as well as coding gene and application thereof

2015
The invention discloses a protein GmIFR associated with the insect tolerance of plants as well as a coding gene and application thereof. The protein is the following a) or b): a) a protein with an amino acid sequence shown in a sequence 1 in a sequence table; b) a protein which is obtained by carrying out substitution and/or deletion and/or addition of one or more amino acid residues on the amino acid sequence shown in the sequence 1 in the sequence table and is associated with the insect tolerance of plants. Experiments prove that compared with wild arabidopsis thaliana plants and trans-empty vector arabidopsis thaliana plants, trans-GmIFR arabidopsis thaliana plants have the advantages that after newly-hatched helicoverpa armigera Hubner larvae are fed with the trans-GmIFR arabidopsis thaliana plants, the weights of the helicoverpa armigera Hubner larvae are obviously reduced, and the body length of the helicoverpa armigera Hubner larvae is obviously reduced. The protein GmIFR is of great importance in cultivating plants tolerant to insects.
