Research and Implementation of Power Amplifier Nonlinear Simulation Technology

Power amplifier (P A) is mainly composed of nonlinear components such as transistor, capacitor and inductor, with nonlinear in nature. Usually, in order to improve the work efficiency, power amplifier often works near the saturation point, where the nonlinear effect is very obvious. The channel simulator is used to simulate various channel fading characteristics, which reflects the channel characteristic truly. Power amplifier nonlinear not only causes digital signal distortion, produces intersymbol interference and causes a flip of the constellation graph, higher error rate, but also leads to signal spectrum extension, adjacent-channel interference and reduces the band utilization rate. It has serious impact on the communication system performance. Therefore, to simulate channel characteristics accurately and evaluate quality of communication system correctly, it is necessary to do research about the nonlinear simulation of the P A. Based on the channel simulator project, this paper researches the power amplifier nonlinear simulation technology and puts forward a kind of power amplifier nonlinear simulation method based on look-up table.
