Protocolli a confronto nelle fratture esposte: approccio classico e ortoplastico

A multicentre cohort study was conducted on the surgical approach to open tibia fractures. Treatment differences allowed for comparison between orthoplastic and exclusively traditional orthopaedic approach. Out of 160 patients, 70% were cured with an orthoplastic treatment, whereas 30% were treated by an orthopaedic team. All outcome measures were statistically improved by the orthoplastic approach.
