Validation of Festuca idahoensis subsp. roemeri comb.nov.

The transfer of Festuca idahoensis var. roemeri Pavlick (Can. J. Bot. 61: 350. 1983) on page 1542 of Can. J. Bot. Vol. 75, 1997, is invalid because the place and date of publication of the basionym were omitted. The new combination, Festuca idahoensis subsp. roemeri (Pavlick) S. Aiken, is made valid here.
