Synthesis and reactivity of acid chlorides of aliphatic Β-(chlorosulfinyl)carboxylic acids
1981
1.
A convenient general method was developed for obtaining the acid chlorides of Β-(chlorosulfinyl)carboxylic acids from Β-(acetylthio)carboxylic acids.
2.
The acid chlorides of Β-(chlorosulfinyl) carboxylic acids react with water and amines as the acid chloride form, while with alcohols, PCl3, and PCl5 they apparently react via the tautomeric form of the cyclic dichlorosulfuran.
