Диагностическая и лечебная тактика при хроническом кологенном запоре

A diagnostic and treatment algorithm for patients with chronic colonic constipation is presented. The effect of conservative treatment was noted by 90,3 % of patients; 10% of patients with decompensated constipation were operated on the background of various anomalies of structure and fixation of colon in the abdominal cavity. A choice of intervention depended on causes of constipated syndrome established during complex examination and also based on functional conditions of the intestine. Surgical treatment of patients with resistant forms of constipation based on careful patient selection as well as a balanced approach to choose surgical intervention has been shown as rather effective.
