Data on Man

Animals, not men, are the common experimental subjects in research designed to predict the behavior of radioactive nuclides in man. This is true for uranium quite as much as for other nuclides; witness the abundance of experimental animal data contained in the preceding chapter relative to the amount of information available for presentation in the following pages.
