Suspension of the Ford focus RS 500
2010
For sporty automobiles the trend is cognizable that high-powered vehicles use a front-wheel drive. After presenting the front axle concept RevoKnuckle first in the year 2004, Ford improves this principle for the current Ford RS 500 in the generation II. The optimisation allows not only reduced lever arms but also largely retention of the otherwise excellent properties of the McPherson front axle from standard production.
