Effects of MCPA-Na on the volatiles from rice plants.
2010
Effects of MCPA-Na on the volatiles from rice plants were studied.Twenty-four components were collected from headspace of rice plants by solid phase microextraction(SPME),8 of which were identified by gas chromatography coupled by mass spectrometry(GC-MS),and the major components were sesquiterpenes(7 kinds).Four of the identified components were reported for the first time in rice plant, including isoledene,(-)-α-cedrene,(+)-β-cedrene and cedrol.Different treatments did not result in the emission of new compounds, but the proportions(% of total peak area) among the compounds in the blend were altered. The proportions of 13 components(accounting for 54.2% of total kinds) had significant differences in 3 levels of MCPA-Na concentration treatments.Different days after MCPA-Na treatment obviously altered the proportions of 11 components(accounting for 45.8% of total kinds).Furthermore, the proportion differences of 17 components(accounting for 70.8% of total kinds) were attributed to interactions between MCPA-Na and rice varieties.
