Despacho hidrotérmico considerando restrições de gás natural.

2018
Brazil is a country whose electrical energy generation comes, mainly, from hydroelectric and themoelectric power plants. In order to optimize the hydrical resources and minimize the electrical energy generation cost, the National System Operator (ONS - Operador Nacional do Sistema) solves an optimization problem known as hydrotermal dispatch. In that regard, this work aims to solve the hydrothermal dispatch problem using dual stochastic dynamic programming, taking into account the constraints imposed by hydroelectric and thermoelectric power plants, such as natural gas transport and generation. In order to implement the dispatch, data from the National Integrated System (Sistema Integrado Nacional) from the year 2015 regarding the North, Northeast and Southeast/Center-West areas were used. The results from the simulations are presented for different operation conditions and show how the natural gas constraints affect the operational cost and the operation mode of the generator units.
