Preparation and Characterization of Shape Controlled Silver Nanomaterials

Silver nanoparticles and Silver nanochains were successfully prepared by using polyethylene glycol(PEG) as solvent or PEG and water as mixed solvent.The structure and shape were characterized by transmission electron microscope(TEM),infrared spectroscopy(IR),xray powder diffraction(XRD),and the presumable formation mechanism was ratiocinated.
