One kind of proton exchange membrane fuel cell startup and shutdown control method

2013
A protic membrane fuel cell start and stop control method for switching, the entire fuel cell stack into several battery modules are connected by a control switch, a load and a secondary crystal diode in series with each other in a modular discharge circuit on each battery module each of the main discharge circuit and the load circuit are connected in parallel at both ends of the fuel cell anode and cathode; and an air source via the air purge valve with the anode terminal is connected to the fuel cell, the anode purge air residual hydrogen. An anode using hydrogen purge start control, load control while the auxiliary battery voltage; stop control after first closing off the air using hydrogen, the auxiliary discharge load system closed, in conjunction with an air purge of the anode. Advantages: the consumption of the fuel cell can be reduced down time, reducing oxygen concentration remaining in the cathode can be prevented from reverse polarity within the cell module, to prevent cell reversal phenomenon and the discharge air purge shutdown occurs; system more simplified and easy operation.
